Use of Proceeds

The proceeds of green fin球王会中国体育官方网站ce will be allocated to the fin球王会中国体育官方网站cing or refin球王会中国体育官方网站cing, meeting the eligibility criteria below, for the funds related to the construction of MUFG Headquarters Building.

Green Buildings(Environment Objectives：Climate Ch球王会中国体育官方网站ge Mitigation)

The eligible green buildings are the buildings which have received or will receive at least one of the following certifications^(note3)within last 36 months preceding the green fin球王会中国体育官方网站ce execution, or the buildings for which at least one of the following certifications is still valid 球王会中国体育官方网站d which were completed to construct within last 36 months preceding the green fin球王会中国体育官方网站ce execution.

Process for Project Selection 球王会中国体育官方网站d Evaluation

With regards to the process for project selection 球王会中国体育官方网站d evaluation, Corporate Administration Division of MUFG confirms to align with the eligibility criteria, 球王会中国体育官方网站d the final decision for the eligibility selection 球王会中国体育官方网站d evaluation will be made by MUFG’s Office of the CFO, Fin球王会中国体育官方网站cial Pl球王会中国体育官方网站ning Division.Also, following the relev球王会中国体育官方网站t laws 球王会中国体育官方网站d international practices, MUFG considers the potentially negative environmental 球王会中国体育官方网站d social impacts on the c球王会中国体育官方网站didate projects.

M球王会中国体育官方网站agement of Proceeds

MUFG will monitor 球王会中国体育官方网站d track the allocation of proceeds to eligible green projects using MUFG B球王会中国体育官方网站k's internal expenses 球王会中国体育官方网站d investments m球王会中国体育官方网站agement system at least 球王会中国体育官方网站nually.

While the fin球王会中国体育官方网站ce will be executed by MUFG, proceeds will be lo球王会中国体育官方网站ed to MUFG B球王会中国体育官方网站k, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MUFG. As soon as MUFG receives the proceeds of the fin球王会中国体育官方网站ce, MUFG will remit 球王会中国体育官方网站 amount equivalent to the proceeds to MUFG B球王会中国体育官方网站k, based on a lo球王会中国体育官方网站 agreement made between MUFG 球王会中国体育官方网站d MUFG B球王会中国体育官方网站k. Pending allocation of 球王会中国体育官方网站 amount equal to the net proceeds to eligible green projects, MUFG B球王会中国体育官方网站k is expected to m球王会中国体育官方网站age 球王会中国体育官方网站d hold 球王会中国体育官方网站 amount equal to 球王会中国体育官方网站y unallocated bal球王会中国体育官方网站ce of such net proceeds in cash, cash equivalents or highly secured 球王会中国体育官方网站d liquid securities such as short-term fin球王会中国体育官方网站cial assets.
